Research Abstract

「デトネ-ション研究」は、数値解析によってとくに行なわれた。定在斜めデトネ-ションの特性などが明らかになっており、レ-ザ-デトネ-ションに関しても逆制動輻射がレ-ザ-吸収機構で、ブレ-クダウン波の存在やプラズマのカットオフ現象が見出されている。このような結果から、実験に対する基礎固めが出来たと考えられる。
「極超音速衝撃波と非平衡流」と関する研究では、これらの流れからの輻射の分光において原子・分子論的に観測されるスペクトルを予測出来、化学反応、原子・分子内部励起過程、空力加熱などの予備的評価が可能となった。実験装置としてバリスティックレンジ、極超音速風洞が既に用意されていて、現在デ-タを得ている。
「非平衡反応速度論」の研究では、アクリルニトリルを1000K附近まで衝撃波で加熱し、その後CO2レ-ザ-を照射して反応挙動を調べた。レ-ザ-照射後HCNの生成量が時間と共に増加するのが観測された。この実験では、反応物濃度が高かったので連鎖反応を生じてしまったが、弱いレ-ザ-光照射による反応促進が確認された。一方、単分子熱分解による特定分子構造を伴った励起分子の生成に関しては、既に幾つかの成果が得られている。
「大気汚染反応」の研究においては、実験装置が2年前から順調に稼働し、既に多くのラジカル反応について全く新しい重要な研究成果を挙げている。特に、高温における窒素原子の反応機構の検討、酸素分子の高振動励起状態(v=7)の検出と緩和速度の測定、ならびにCO2の193nm光分解過程解明の研究は、これまでに類似の研究成果を含めて報告されていない。本研究において使用しているレ-ザ-閃光分解型衝撃波管により、初めて可能となった研究である。
