Research Abstract

種々の複雑な系が示す協力現象を、計算物理の手法を開発・駆使して解明することが本研究の目的であり、今年度の成果は以下の通りである。
量子スピン系について、まずその計算手法に関して、指数演算子の高次分解の一般論(鈴木)、数値的対角化法の汎用プログラムパッケ-ジの作成(西森)とその汎用性向上への取り組み(利根川)、フラストレ-ションを含むスピン系に対する量子モンテカルロ法に現われる負符号問題の解析(西森)、さらに不純物を含む系の量子モンテカルロ法の開発(宮下)など、数多くの進展がなされ、具体的な物性現象としては、S=1の1次元ハイゼンベルグスピン系のハルデン相に対するフラストレ-ション効果(利根川)などが明らかにされた.
ランダムスピン系について、まず、新たに開発したモンテカルロ・スピン動力学法を用いて異方性のあるハイゼンベルグ・スピングラス(以下SG)における相転移に関して重要な結果が得られた(松原)。一方、通常のモンテカルロ法など種々の計算手法によって、CAM理論によるSG相転移の解析(鈴木)、SG平均場理論の展開とイジングEA模型におけるスピン緩和過程(高山)、XYおよびハイゼンベルグSGにおけるカイラルオ-ダ-(川村)等に関して新たな知見が得られた。また、ポッツ模型SGに関してはマルチスピンコ-ディングによる高速化されたモンテカルロ法のプログラムを開発し、相図など具体的な結果を得た(岡部)。
ランダム・フラクタル系の動力学について、強制振動法のアルゴリズムを確立し、フラクタル構造に固有なスケ-リング則を検証した(中山)。また、高次元量子カオスに関して、その時間発展を追うための数値計算法(FFTーSympletic Integrator法)を開発し、多自由度量子カオスによる散逸の発生機構を明らかにした(池田)。
