Research Abstract |
We brought light to the questions of manufacturing process and circulating process in East Asia for two years, and searched these relations, with examining the distinctive features concertely, then understood these two matters as our consensus. In the first place, we should keep in our mind the view including all East Asia. We had broad view not only of China but also of all East Asia, for instance, Mongolia, Korea, and Japan (especially, Kyusyu). Besides, we investigated the change of manufacture and circulation, with considering the social structural difference of each other. In the next place, our study must be turned to the question, 'product and circulation', surpassing the category of the social, economic history. We tried to approach the other categories: the history of institution, politics, culture, and archeology, and inquire into the aspects of the products which the people made and their transportation. Understanding the above, we held the study sessions six times in two years and made reports on the results of their studies. As a result, we came to understand deeply what kind of structural relations built the economical world in Asia. Speaking concrately, we collected literature and historical material and sorted out it as the data base. On the other hand, some of us had already published the articles or books and others are now preparing their publications.
