Research Abstract |
The research group discussed on two propositions concerning to post graduate medical training and education. One is the primary clinical training just after the graduation or medical licensing the other is the post-graduate course of medical school, clinical course in particular. Many reports and recommendations issued by various kinds of previous groups and committees were refereed and discussed on the problems they had, focusing to the practical phase of application on actual system. On the other hand, the present environment and actual status of post graduate education (and training) in University hospitals were investigated. As the results of frequent discussion, the research team issued the recommendations as follows. In terms of primary clinical training, 1) the precise program for the training should be established. 2) the relation and cooperation between University hospitals and other training hospitals should be explicit. 3) official commissions to the training should be done in both hospital and national phase. In terms of post graduate clinical course, 1) the curriculum should include one year training course for research methodology, 2) the entrance after primary clinical training should be recommended, 3) the research study should be proceeded on project oriented. Two reports on these works were issued during the term.
