(1)WE HAVE COLLECTED VARIOUS DOCUMENTS AND BOOKS IN ORDER TO SEE POLICY FORMATION AND POLICY ARRANGEMENTS OF THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT. WHAT WE CAN IDENTIFIED IN OUR PROJECTS IS A THESIS THAT DUE TO INDUSTRIALIZATION AND URBANIZATION OF JAPANESE SOCIETY AFTER THE FIRST WORLD WAR, NEW GOVERNMENT POLICIES AND PROGRAMS WERE INTRODUCED. OUR RESEARCH CONCERN IS TO SEE THIS CHANGING JAPANESE SOCIETY AND GOVERNMENT POLICY. (2) IN ORDER TO CLARIFY OUR THESIS. WE HAVE CARRIED OUT FIELD WORKS AND COLLECTED VARIOUS DOCUMENTS IN OSAKA. MATSUYAMA, FUKUOKA, KUMAMOTO, SHIZUOKA, SENDAI, YAMAGATA, BY LOOKING AT REPORTS AND DOCUMENTS PUBLISHED BY LOCAL MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT. WE REALIZED THAT VARIATIONS POLICY COORDINATION AND IMPLEMENTATION. FOR EXAMPLE. WELFARE PROGRAMS AND INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS WERE INTRODUCED BY BOTH LOCAL DEMOCRATIC MOVEMENT AND NATIONAL GOVERNMENT FOR THE SAKE OF INTEGRATION. (3) THE REALITY AND IMAGE OF JAPANESE CAPITALIST STATE DURING THE TWO WORLD WARS WAS INFLUENCED BY WORLD POLITICS OF THE DAY. AND TWO CONTASTING VIEWS (INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AND CONFRONATION WITH THE USA/UK) WERE IDENTIFIED. CHINA WAS THE MAIN POINT OF CONTROVERSIES IN THIS CONTEXT. (4) WHAT WE SHOULD SEE NEXT IS ROLES OF JAPANESE MILITARY ELITES, AND IN THE NEAR FUTURE, WE PLAN TO PUBLISH OUR BOOK FROM OCHANOMIZU-SHOBO OF TOKYO.
