Research Abstract |
First aim of this study was to investigate what ability, traist, attitudes were important for junior high-school students and undergraduate students. Results showed that they attached importance to personality /behavior first and ability second. Second aim was to examine effects of stability of task performance on closeness to others, task relevance to self, and task choice. Results suggested that as evaluation standards were unstable, self-protect or self-enhancement was dominant, and as the standards were stable, self-assessment was dominant.
