Research Abstract |
This research paper deals with possibilities on the deconcentration of the central administrative functions from Tokyo metropolitan areas to other urban areas. Research Results 1. North-Kanto ares is going to reorganize as parts of Tokyo metropolitan ares. They are proved by the location of high-Technological industries, R & D institutes. 2. Sapporo city, Kumamoto city, and Toyama city constituted the amenities created the triangular interconnected dwelling functions, city functions, and recreation-resort functions until now. 3. Simokawa-cho in north Hokkaido is a typical depopulated area. It became a half population as compared with ten years before. As one of the reasons, we can point out the decline of the industries such as mining, agriculture etc and addition to it, enterprises did not locate Simokawa up to this time.
