Firstly it researched actual condisions and consciousness toward home life overseas and the extent of their awareness toward homemaking education of returned students' parents. Secondly it investigated actual condisions and consciousness toward home life overseas and their thought on homemaking of Japanese school students' parents. Thirdly questionnaire about their home life and perception of homemaking education was completed by the children at Japanese school in the United States. The part of the results are as follows ; 1. Parents felt uneasy about the education of their children and daily life overseas. Children did not take much part in household tasks when overseas. 2.
