Research Abstract

電荷移動からみた石炭の非共有結合構造を解明し、石炭粒子のゲル化、常温水素移動できることを示した。酸化セレンで処理した石炭を低温、短時間で液化できることを見いだした。石炭を高温下、各種の方法で処理してタール、ガス及びチャーを得るとともに、得られたチャーに鉄を担持し触媒とした水素消費量の少ない減圧残油の分解プロセスを提案した。石炭と一酸化炭素/水、さらには水性ガス/水を水素源として用いる反応系において、Fe(CO)_5/硫黄系触媒が、極めて高い石炭添加率と高度軽質化に有効あることを見いだした。軽油中の難脱硫性化合物を明らかにし、これらの難脱硫性化合物を脱流するための反応機構、触媒上の硫黄の挙動を検討した。石炭、重質油コプロセッシングにおいてNiCl_2-LiCl-KClを予め石炭に含浸担持させ、さらにNiMo/Al_2O_3を共存させると、各々を単独で使用した時よりも、一層高い軽質油収率が達成されること、軽質油のイオウ含量も最低になり軽質油の質の面でも好ましい複合効果が発現することを明らかにした。ガロシリケートにより液化油を改質して芳香族化合物を得る反応を検討し、高選択率で芳香族炭素に変換されることを確認した。
