Research Abstract

1.結晶臨界核生成可逆仕事への界面応力の寄与は負,エッジ自由エネルギーの寄与も通常は負となることがわかった.また,臨界核に対する熱力学的定義と速度論的定義とは一致しないことを明かにした.(西岡)
2.拡散場により結晶界面の不安定化がおきた後の界面形態の多様性を,結晶の異方性と原子レベルの雑音との競合の観点から明かにした.特に,先端不安定性の起こる雑音レベルの臨界値に対する近似解析とシミュレーション結果とは良い一致を示した.(斉藤)
3.微斜面を構成するステップの揺らぎを調べ,個々のステップの揺らぎが中距離で増幅されるのに対し,ステップ間隔の揺らぎは抑制されることがわかった.また,ステップ列の安定性について解析し,3本以上の束縛状態,多数のバンチングなどを見いだした.(上羽)
4.MBE成長条件下での2元系結晶成長のシミュレーションを行い,成長中の表面構造の平坦性は1示系で得た特徴的長さだけでは整理されないこと,成長後の原子種の整合性については,入射フラックスと結合エネルギーの関係で相転移的な振舞いをすることがわかった.(入沢)
5.塩化カルシウム融体からの結晶成長のシミュレーションを行った結果,10psのオーダーで(001)成長面では成長が見られたが,(100)面では認められなかった.界面には数原子層にわたって中間の層が見られ,融体中でも隣接する結晶に影響されたオーダリングが見られた.(岡田)
6.結晶(001)面の2x1再構成表面におけるステップ成長メカニズムを量子化学的手法により主としてダイヤモンドについて解析した結果,(001)表面上のS_вステップではキンクからの成長は起こらず,孤立したダイマー列が突出して成長することがわかった.(津田)
7.Si(111)微斜面ステップ構造を表面再構成温度の上下の温度域で調べた.高温域では,直流通電方向反転に伴う等間隔・バンチング間の構造変化機構を拡張BCF理論により説明し,低温域での再構成に起因するバンチング機構をTSKモデルに基づいたシミュレーションで調べた.(名取)
