Research Abstract

本年は重点領域の次の各分野についてまとめを行った。
・中性子と原子核の反応における時空の対称性の研究核偏極法の開発
・超冷中性子発生法と中性子特性の研究
・多層膜による冷中性子干渉実験
・CP非保存の起源に関する研究
・多ヒルベルト空間論に基づく量子力学の観測問題の研究
・結晶中の高電圧を用いた中性子EDM測定の可能性の検討
また平成8年までに研究が完了しなかったものについては、完了させるための追加実験や解析を行い、ほぼすべての研究を完成させた。この重点領域研究の成果をふまえて、これからの新しい展開を進めている。この研究の成果を明らかにし、新しい発展の方向を探るべく、政池が京大、阪大、名大、岡山大、京都工芸繊維大などで講演を行ったのをはじめ、この重点領域研究にたずさわったすべての者がそれぞれ広い分野の研究者と議論を行った。
また政池はアメリカ、チェコ、イスラエルにおいて研究成果について発表、討論を行い、ベトナムの研究者とも今後の研究のについて話し合うなどして、国際的にも幅広い分野の研究者から高い評価を得ることができた。これらの本年の研究活動実績については平成9年10月文部省における「研究終了ヒヤリング」で報告した。
最後に、この領域研究全体の成果については平成10年3月「研究成果報告書」にまとめ、文部省および関係研究者に配布した。
