Research Abstract

痛覚の伝達機構を特に内因性伝達物質との関連において解明するために、平成3年度から5年度までの3年間「重点研究班」を組織して、痛みの情報伝達機構に関する研究を行った。これは特に、痛みを伝える一次求心性ニューロンのうち遅い痛みの伝達に関与する無髄C線維に焦点をあて、痛みの伝達に関与する内因性活性物質を探索し、その作用動態を解明することを目的とした。本研究では、3年の間で完了に至らなかった研究を補足、完成させると共に、計画研究ならびに公募研究の3年間の研究成果をまとめて研究成果報告書を作成し、広く公開することを目的とした。
その結果、新しいタキキニン受容体拮抗薬が得られ、またタキキニンおよびオピオイド神経ペプチドの酵素的不活性化機構に関しさらに知見がまとまった。これらを加えて計画研究班員ならびに公募研究班員に、3年間の研究成果の要約と研究業績一覧をまとめてもらい、これらを総合して『平成3年度〜5年度文部省科学研究補助金重点領域研究 研究成果報告書:痛みの伝達機構と内因背活性物質』を出版することができた。本報告書はタキキニンの不活性化機構、サブスタンスPおよびサブスタンスK受容体の構造と機能の相関性解析、タキキニン受容体拮抗薬、痛み受容器の反応性増強に関わるプロスタグランジン受容体のサブタイプの解明、脊髄より上位の中枢内痛覚伝達機構、痛み刺激による自律神経・免疫応答、などにつき、欧文誌原著論文として極く最近出版されたものや印刷中の論文など最新の情報を多く含み、国内の痛み研究に携わる研究社、医療従事者にとって重要な研究資料として役立つことが期待される。
