| Research Abstract |
We have been studying over ten years about "Kokusyo Itsubun"("Lost writings" of Old Japanese Literature), edited by Dr.H, Wada. On the basis of the studies, we received this aid from the 4th to the 5th fiscal year of Heisei, and made possible efforts to finish up the studies and investigations.
Our studies are :
1)Each one brought the materials about lost writings of old Japanese literature and investigated at the monthly meeting in Kyoto or Tokyo.
2)At the joint meeting of the Kansai and the Kanto area, held twice a year in July and December, we studied into the unsolved ploblems met at monthly meetings.
3)At both of the meetings, we examined the drafts, collecting the results of studies to be published in the near future.
At the result :
1)We indicated concretely some misprints and misconceptions in the original "Kokusho Itsubun".
2)We collected many lost texts uneared in the lost writings recorded in that original book.
3)and found out more lost texts beyond our expectations from the lost writings which were not recorded in that book.
4)According to the results, we could restore the original form of lost writings, and derive some new opinions about the historical meaning of lost writings.
