Research Abstract

(1) Principles and characteristics
The principle of AC-pressurization method which is different from the conventional method, that is, DC-pressurization method is described. The procedure to calculate the effective leakage area and the characteristics of AC-press method are discussed.
(2) Development of measuring system
The measuring system consists of moving part, pressure measuring part and data analysis part. With the system which provides the sinusoidal movement of piston from motor rotation using mechanical joint equipment can not give satisfactory precision by the experiment. The reasons are, the work precision of the mechanical joint is not enough, the value of displacement are given numerically where the phase lag is measured, and data is collected by analogue chart recorder.
(3) Simulation of system
The changing rate of room volume and the pressure difference between outside and inside are calculated. The phase lag is almost same though the displacement is not in good agreement. Therefore the improvement of the piston movement and data collection is supposed to give better precision of the system.
(4) Development of new system
The system that has an having the precision of 2/1000mm and digital recorder is developed. The system has required the control program, power unit, etc. and has more number of consisting parts.
