| Research Abstract |
Urban industries located in metropolitan regions. We researched footwear manufacture in Osaka.
(1) We examined the co-efficent of industrial specialization by culculating the Census of Manufacture (Japan, MITI).
We surveyed the Japanese footwear industries by examining the document of Japanese footwear (Chemical Sandal) Cooperatives.
(3)We researched the Shiguoka industrial district (especially chemical sandal which are competive industriel district.
(4)We researched the Kobe chemical footwear industrial distriet.
(5)We surveyed Osaka footwear (chemical sandals footwear) mamtfactuers by mail method and interviws method. Therefore, we examined the characteristics of urban-type industries in Osaka, and we proposed the urban economic policies.
