Research Abstract |
Some new host compounds (1-6) were designed and synthesized. For example, spider host compound (1) was found to include six guest molecule selectively. 1,4-Diphenyl-1,4-cyclohexanediol (2) tends to include several types of alcohols and phenols in a 1 : 1 ratio. Some ammonium halides (3,4) were found to form crystallin inclusion complex with various phenol derivatives. Optical resolution of bis-beta-naphthol derivatives by complexation with optically active amonium halide (5) was found to be very efficiently. We also desiged some phosponium salt host compounds such as 6.
