| Research Abstract |
In this research, we studied how to handle vague inquires such as sound and pictures. To provide user friendly interface, it is necessary to allow uses to retirieve and browse data as easily as in an ordinary book. For example, a user will be able to retrieve information on a bird by giving an imitation of its birdcall, a silhouette, or color pattern. Th report summarises the research work done to attain the goal, including the recognition of a birdcall, music and human face.
