Research Abstract |
1.The clinical application of dental implant in conjunction with bone graft : We have investigated the function and esthetics before and after the Surgery. The results show that both function and esthetics have more improved bY the dental implants with bone graft rather than the conventional preprosthetic surgery. 2.The surface modification by means of Ion beam assisted deposition (IBAD) technique : We have made the very thin film (Ti, TiO_2, Al_2O_3) on metal substrates by IBAD technique. These thin films have a strong mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of metal ion. We are investigating the animal studies with respect to the tissue response of these thin films. 3.The analysis of the dynamics of dental implant : We have investigated the dynamics of dental implant by means of vibration theory. The results show that the control of impulsive response is one of the key problems of the implant restoration. 4.MPR-CT and CAD/CAM equipments were available for the preoperative examination and simulation images. Based on these results, we could easily accomplish the surgical operation and the final restoration.
