Research Abstract

Purposes of this study is as followings :
(1) to develop teaching starategy for enhancement of pupils' intuition into geometrical figures and their properties.
(2) to try out the teaching strategy, mentioned in (1), in some classes of lower secondary schools, and to evaluate its validity for improvement of teaching geometrical figures and their properties.
We clarify some idea for enhancement of pupils' intuition into geometrical figures and properties with respect to two purposes above mentioned. Regarding the 1st purpose, we review litertures and do theoretical survey. Some strategies are developed as follows.
(1) Nessecity of method mixed approach for constructing proofs, i.e.action proof, oral proof and formal proof.
(2) Inductive approach proposed by G.Polya and consists of two typical activities ; suggestive contact & supporting contact, should be intoduced for productive activites.
(3) Thought experiment proposed by E.Mach plays important role learning geometrical concepts nd constructing proofs.
Regarding the 2nd purpose, we check and try out some computer technology media and read made softwares and simulation. These media have much availability for enhancement of pupils' intuition into geometrical figures and their properties in case of formulating new concepts and discovery of new properties.
