Research Abstract |
The objective of our research is to establish the systematic method for quality assurance in development and operation of information systems, applying Quality Function Deployment(QFD) which has been recognized with its effectiveness for development of new products in the fields like manufacturing and construction. The feasibility of application of the standard procedures of QFD to develop and operate information systems was studied in the first year, 1992, with the following subthemes : Method to develop the quality tables for customer requirements and quality characteristics of systems and software ; Method to evaluate the developed systems were studied ; Problems in applying the model of management system described in ISO9000 series of ISO (International Standardization Organization) ; Strategic Information Management with Deployment of Quality Strategies by means of QFD. In 1993, environment management system wich are being prepared in ISO were studied, comparing it with quality maneagement systems and quality assurance models of ISO 9000 series with the following themes : Application of QFD in the practical information system ; Comparison of Quality Diagnosis of management with audit of information systems. In conclusion, the effectiveness of QFD was shown in development the information system and softwares with quality assurance of high level.
