Research Abstract

Japanese Subcontractor has alternative courses.
1) To gain Independence from a Client.
2) Remaining in the Japanese Subcontractingsystems.
Japanese small and medium enterprises has introduced concurrent-engineering on a wide scale. This system is now widespread in almost all machine industries in Japan.
In my view, the introduction of concurrent-engineering system will be essesial.
So, if they want to gain independence from a Client, they must introduce concurrent-engineering. And they must introduce it, if they want to keep abreast of the new market trend and maintein competitiveness.
