Research Abstract |
(1) Many international researches on teachers are interested in Teacher Development, especially In-Service Education of Teachers. They find that school improvement develop teachers. In the vewpoint of teacher development, Japanese teachers have some tasks such as collegiality, teachers as researchers, loose system of the school, snd study on teacher education. (2) In-Service Education of Teachers in Japan is basically based on school-focused method both inside and outside schools. School-based in-service education inside schools needs Organizational Learning which develop teachers. (3) Life histories of teachers tell that teachers can change their attitude and value by learning organizational culture of the good school where they have taught. (4) I will publish a book titled by 'Teacher Education in a Changing Society' that contains results above mentioned.
