Research Abstract |
We developed a narrowband resonance scattering lidar system for measurement of the mesopause region temperature. This system consists of a narrowband ring dye laser and a Nd : YAG laser pumped dye laser. We successfully got saturated spectrum of sodium vapor for high accuracy tuning and developed a high power narrowband pulse dye laser using injection seeding technique. Using this laser system and existing lidar system, we got temperature profiles of the mesopause region.
