Research Abstract |
THE HIGH-SPEED POTENTIOMETRIC ANALYSIS SYSTEM EQUIPPED WITH A CHLORIDE ION-SELECTIVE ELECTRODE DETECTOR (NAMED AS HIGH SPEED POTENTIOMETRIC ANALYZER : HSPA) WAS DEVELOPED FIRST,WHICH ENABLED DETERMINATION AS QUICK AS 1.2-1.3S PER SAMPLE.THIS SYSTEM WAS THEN IMPROVED BY REPLACING THE ROLLER PUMP WITH AN ASPIRATOR TOGETHER WITH A SUCTION-TYPE FLOW CELL.THE ANALYSIS TIME WAS SHORTENED TO WITHIN IS. THE NITRATE ION-SENSITIVE FIELD EFFECT TRANSISTOR WAS DEVELOPED.THE SURFACE OF THE ISFET WAS COVERED WITH AN ACTIVE MATERIAL BASED ON BATHO-CUPROIN COPPER (I) NITRATE DISSOLVED IN SOLID SOLVENT.THE DYNAMIC RESPONSE CHARACTERISTICS OF pH-ISFET WAS ALSO INVESTIGATED.THE 95% RESPONSE TIME WHEN THE STEP CHANGE OF pH WAS OCCURRED WAS 0.25-0.3 S,WHICH WAS MUCH SLOWER THAN THE VALUES (WITHIN 10 ms)
