Research Abstract |
The purpose of this report is to make clear the nucleate pool boiling characteristics of water and water/lithium halide salts solutions (lithium bromide, lithium chloride) in the region of high heat flux range. Experiments have been carried out to investigate the saturated pool boiling on the horizontal heating surface at the atmospheric pressure for high concentration solutions. As a result, boiling characteristics curve, profile of void fraction and bubble frequency on heating surface, the relation between bubble diameter and frequency and macrolayr thickness are obtained.
