Research Abstract |
We researched and analyzed the following measures for waste reduction. 1. Recycling 2. Refuse reduction and recycling, improvement recyclability of products from the industry 3. Make products with environmental conscious goods and recyclability in the industry 4. Separate collection of recyclable waste and user-charge system of waste collection From many researches and analyzes, we estimated effect of above measures on reduction in amount of resource consumption, energy consumption and effluent pollutants quantitatively. We built up a prediction model for waste reduction with the measures based on our investigation. On building the prediction model, we referred to results of questionnaire to get the measures being put into practice and amount of waste. And we estimated effect of separate collection of recyclable waste and user-charge system of waste collection on waste reduction. 1. Execution of the separate collection of recyclable waste does not bring about waste reduction. 2. If we set adequate charge price, user-charge system of waste collection is effective for waste reduction.
