Research Abstract |
It is necessary to investigate on teaching-learning process of the practice of homemaking education of the post war period in Japan by equality education. This report is on literature related to this subject which was printed from 1946 to 1993. The results can be summarized as follows : 1.The total number of the practice of homemaking education were 4,406 cases among the literature analyzed. The cases were 1940 period's 21,1950 period's 511,1960 period's 625,1970 period's 1,105,1980 period's 1,526,1990-1993 period's 617. Elementaly school's cases were 1,792, Junior high school's cases were 1,778, senior high school's cases were 782. In regard to courses of homemaking, 34.6% were related to foods, 30.0% in clothing, 11.4% in dwelling, 7.0% in nursing, 6.9% in household, 3.1% in family and 2.2% in home economics. The author proposed curriculum plan for homemaking education by equality education on the basis of the above results.
