Research Abstract |
In order to estimate the energy expenditure of various physical activity of healthy (free-living) adults, the relations between heart rates and usual physical activities were examined with healthy women students, aged 19-21 years, by minute-minute heart rate monitoring over 24th. 1. The physical characteristics of the subjects was 158.8<minus-plus>4.5cm in height and 51.5<minus-plus>5.3kg in weight. The total heart beats and daily heart rate were 108228<minus-plus>9809 beats/day and 75.2<minus-plus>6.8 beats/min, respe 2. The mean heart rates were 75.0-84.0 beats/min during the activity of various sitting work, 83.0-88.0 beats/min during the sitting and standing activity, and 87.0-95.0 beats/min during the standing activity. As a result, the range of variation of the mean heart rates was limitted to 75.0-95.0 beats/min, which was within 20 beats/min. In conclusion, the new indication of the energy expenditure refrected by morden lives will be able to be estimated, of the information of men and women is obtained, and the information by age is accumulated.
