Research Abstract |
1. I studied teaching methods of their own music in Asian countries by means of textbooks and literature, and I compared them with teachin methods in Japan. 2. I Pointed out problems of multi-cultural materials through conceptual approach in foreign textbooks and I proposed an alternative, a cross-art approach to Japanese music. 3. I made an experimental teaching of Japanes music with the method of cross-arts approach. 4. I have made a tentative curriculum and textbook including Japanese traditional music for primary school teacher training course in university. I believe the aim of this project is generally attained, on the other hand, the result should be reexamined and verified by further experiments.
