| Research Abstract |
The main object of this project is to clarify the geographical thought and the topographical view of the worls, in Wei Jin-Nan Bei Zhao period. But geographical literatures at that time was almost scatterd or lost. Therefore, we must gather materials on the geographical literatures. On this project, I have made some lists of materials, and collected materials. And, a part of the fruits of these studies, were published in this Report of Research Project. (A list of geographical materials in period from Han to Tang. Vol.1 'The geographical descriptions ranged in area of districts. ' ) These works will be continued. Moreover, I examained some travel notes, so that to clarify how geographical thought took a new turn. As results, I published "On BU CHU XIA MEN XING by Gao Cao. " and "On FENG SHAN YI JI.' Translation and notes. ' " After this, considering Buddism, I will examine the travel note by Hui Yuan in Don-Jin period.
