reased 71.5% to 50,000 students ; finally, the number of institutions will be increased from 66 to 100 IUTs. The total number of different departments in the IUT is 21, and in their second year, the students of IUT may choose a variety of options totalling 42. The number of hours of experimentation (14 persons) and seminar (28 persons) is more than the number of hours of lessons (90 persons). Minimum 10 weeks of training on domestic or foreign enterprises are obligatory for students. Many foreign students enter IUTs and many French students after graduation enter foreign unversities. Belgium is comprised of three communities : the French, Dutch and German-speaking groups. Education is no longer organized, subsidized or recognized by the State, but by each of the three Comminities. Education within the framework of institutional structures is free and the right to choose moral and religious education until the end of the compulsory school attendance period is granted, equitable treatment of all educational establishments, neutrality of education organized by the Comminities and free choice of school by parents is a recognizable human right.
