Research Abstract

量子ホール効果状態の2次元電子系に生ずる端状態の位相干渉性を、端状態で結ばれた二つの空間的に隔たった領域のアンダーソン局在を調べることにより探究し、端状態の位相干渉性が200ミクロンを遙かに越えた巨視的距離に及ぶ事を明らかにした。(小宮山)従来研究の進んでいなかったInAa系の単一量子井戸構造及び量子細線にて磁気フォノン共鳴の観測を行い、擬一次元閉じこめされた電子系と光学フォノンとの相互作用について検討した。(浜口)本研究により作製した高移動度GaAs/AlGaAsヘテロ構造を元に量子ポイントコンタクト試料を作製し、分数量子ホール効果状態における端状態を、共鳴ピーク幅の温度依存性および非共鳴域での透過率の温度依存性を通して調べた。(家)スプリットゲート型GaAs/AlGaAs量子細線中の電子状態を遠赤外光応答を通して調べた。また、結合量子井戸構造中の電子準位の交差に伴う電子状態の変化を、遠赤外光領域のサイクロトロン共鳴の観測を通して調べた。(平川)単純スプリットゲート型量子細線、片側のみに意図的に散乱体を配した片側コルゲーションゲート型量子細線、両側に散乱体を配した両側コルゲーションゲート型量子細線の低温磁気抵抗測定により、量子細線中の電子波の干渉性や散乱機構に対する側壁の影響を明らかにした。(落合)
