Research Abstract |
In this project many researchers covering a wide range of special fields : thermal, combustion, chemical, catalytic, separation engineering and materials engineering. Therefore, they are divided into four groups such as (1) Exergy extraction from hydrocarbonfuels, (2) Fundamental study of COィイD22ィエD2-free combustion, (3) Production increase and regeneration of Exergy by hydrogen, and (4) Reduction of exergy loss in conversion of thermalenergy to promote collaborative works. Two days summer seminar and a symposium , which was open to public, were held. In addition, some meetings of each group were held. Three volumes of newsletter, the outcome of research and an annual progress report were published. In every meeting two engineers representing energy industry were invited to evaluate the results and to give adequate advice to all members. We are planning to publish a summary report about four-year studt in English and to publish a book entitled Exergy Engineering with a purpose of publisizing the significance of exergy concept.
