Research Abstract |
The first purpose of this study is to make clear the speciality of teachers on YOGO-KUNREN who belong to special school or special class for visual handicapped, hearing handicapped, physical handicapped, mental retarded, health impaired, and speech and language impaired children. We obtained informations through the questionnaire about the teaching contents and the important points for the planning and the teaching on YOGO-KUNREN. The result indicated that there are significant differences between high career group and low career gourp. High career group often selected the teaching content which linked directly with their handicap or disability. And further, most of them answered they are good at YOGO-KUNREN.Similarly, on the important points of planning and teaching, they answered that such points are very important and they have taught the contents actually. The second purpose of this study is to clarify what problems are there in current system of special teachers' training, most of all YOGO-KUNREN and to indicate improvement about them. Two kinds of questionnaire were administered with teachers' colledge members, members of local boards of education, and special school masters. The following main results were obtained ; (1) to make teachers' college students complete subjects about special education in order to get a teacher's license, (2) to make teachers for special classes get a teacher's license for special education.
