Research Abstract |
We studied the some transportation management systems in foreign countries for the feasibility of introducing the system to Japan. We concluded that it is whether introducing the travel demand management policy will be success or not. Then we have collected the consciousness and behavior data at Mizuho and Nonami area in Nagoya city and forecasted the change of behavior when the "No Car Day" policy have introduced to the area. We also tried to analyze the behavior in Toyota City where is not wellserved public transportation and to interview deeply at C.B.D of Nagoya City. By these two analysis We have found out that the travel behavior have changed in this 20 years because of the prevailing of motorization. We concluded the relation of decision making for destination choice and travel mode choice have changed and is not divided into two sub model.
