Research Abstract |
(1) Study on Molecular Dynamics in Volume Phase Transition of Gels Fluorescence spectra and emission anisotropy apectra of chromophore doped in gels have measured in the vicinity of volume phase transition of poly (N-isopropylacrylamide) gels with precise temperature controllor. From the analysis of thier data, we obtained the fact that the rotational motion of chromophore before volume phase transition of gels was slower than that after one. Hence we found out that the critical temperature of gels was proportional to the cube root of crosslink-density of gels. (2) Rate Study of Competition between Volume Phase Transition and Phase Separation Process by Graphics Method The time-resolved form change of poly (N-isopropylacrylamide) gels at above critical temperatures has measured by video camera. From the analysis of thier data, we obtained the fact that the whitening rate of gels was increasing with increasing temperature. (3) Spectroscopy of Helix-Coil Transition Process of DNA in Metal Ion Aqueous Solution Fluorescence spectra and emission anisotropy sepctra of chromophore doped in DNA have measured in the vicinity of helix-coil transition of DNA in the range of 30-9゚C.From the analysis of thier data, we found that helix-coil transition processes of DNA depended on the component of buffer solutions and metal ions.
