Research Abstract |
The items studied in this research are given below together with [the results obtained]. 1) investigation on the existing state of the fundamental cource in Physics Laboratory and relevant matters. [We collected the textbooks and inspected the laboratories for more than ten universities. And a questionaire was carried out in kobe university, and a few thouthands of answers from the studens and teachers working in natural science were anlyzed.] 2) establishment of network for the Fundamental Course in Physics Laboratory. [The hardware and fundamental software were prepared and provided for test use.] Arrangement of textbooks and space available for students, which helps them to learn by hemselves at any time. [Most of available textbooks on fundamental physics experiment were bought and arranged for the used by teachers and students.] 4) investigation of the educational efficiency of the present cource and design of new themes of experiment. [A questionaires was carried out every terms for the students took the Fundamental Course in Physics Laboratory and the results were analyzed.] 5) Introduction of a new theme using computers. [Computers were used for data analysis in the classes and it had good results.] 6) publication of progress report on this reseach project. [Several talks and papers were given on the progress of this research project.] 7) Test of wellknown histrical experiments and their educatinal effects. [Milikan's experiment were in preparation for studens.] 8) Investigation of interest and understanding of each student and its application for efficient teaching methods. [We tried several ideas. One of them is chaning parther every class.] 9) To finish the research by publishing the results. [It is to be finished soon.]
