Research Abstract

Analysis of SCAR92 GPS campaign data was made with the processing software of GAMIT+GLOBK.Because of 'Autcln' functioning in place of 'Cview', preprocessing could be done automatically, which enabled us effective preprocessing. Analysis of 10 days data with 17 Antarctic and southern hemisphere stations yielded the following solutions for the Syowa Station No.23-16 geodetic marker ; that is, with the SI0 precise orbits,
X=1766182.964m, Y=1460336.492m, Z=-5932285.883m,
while with the GFZ precise orbits,
X=1766182.947m, Y=1460336.521m, Z=-5932286.005m, respectively.
Standard errors of the daily solution are 4-5cm for most of the stations. Stable pillars are required to ensure within 1cm stability of the solution, instead of the environment-sensitive tripod. For reference, the DORIS-determined coordinates of the same station marker were,
X=1766182.526m, Y=1460336.784m, Z=-5932285.380m.
