Research Abstract |
The targets of this research are as follows, 1) Developing the Conformance Test system (CTS) of layr 7 by extending the layr3 CTS which is proposed by us. 2) Developing the gateway between the HBS and ISDN because of harmonization with ISDN,and developing the remote HBS Conformance Test System. [Target (1) ] We defined the test suites concerning the control commands and protocols which are used for HA appliances such as communication and telephone devices, house keeping devices and audio video computer devices. And then, the data base of them were constructed. Presently, we are developing the layr 7 test program and executing the simulation experiments to evaluate our proposal method. The degree of achievement of this target is about 70%. [Target (2) ] We already introduced the ISDN (INSnet 64, D-channal) in our laboratory and developedthe gateway by using the PC systems. The HBS is connected under the ISDN,but the system experiments do't work perfectly now. Fundamentary, the HBS is the multimedia bus for the in-house information network. But this is different to FTTH (Fiber To The Home) project. Therefore we were pursuing many investigations of the ISDN and Internet from a viewpointof mutual harmonization between multimedia information and interigentized resident inner space. As the results of 2 years, we published a book, 3 papers, 2 international conferences and 6 oral presentations. Hereafter we are going to expand this CTS to the remort HBS CTS via ISDN and study about the IEEE1394 bus which are attracted in USA as the in-house multimedia bus.
