Research Abstract |
The investigators interviewed 1,256 elderly after conjugal bereavements in order to determine which socioeconomic, prebereavement, and response variables and circumstances were related to grief and confinement. For both gender 1,256 persons, age, friends' association, religious activity, subjective health status, well slept feeling, and physical anxiety were related to grief. For 230 male, friends'association and physical anxiety were related to confinement. For 1,026 female, friends' assciation, religious activity and mental anxiety were related to confinement.
