Research Abstract |
We prepared three monoclonal antibodies against recombinant human SMP30 protein. These monoclonal antibodies specifically reacted with SMP30 in tissues. Next by using monoclonal antibodies, we established a sensitive assay to measure serum levels of human SMP30. In normal serum the amount of SMP30 5 pg/ml. We now are analyzing the relationship between serum SMP30 level and diseases. This assay system has a possibility to be important parameter for clinical study on kidney and liver diseases.
