Research Abstract |
The study is concerned with developing a fast reconstruction method for Cyclotron beam section using projection data from a few directions. The point of this method is rapidly to reconstruct a beam section (64*64) from a few projections, using the Singular Value Decompositions and the Sampling Model Object. In the first year, we investigated a new algorithm for reconstructing high resolution image. The result of computer simulation based on the reconstruction algorithm was good. In the second year, we confirmd image reconstructions experimentally by means of the actual X-ray equipment. We used LED element or condenser for the object reconstructed. Projecting directions were 8. The (64*64) image reconstructed was good. The reconstruction time was only 0.2 Sec.Several experiments using the X-ray equipment made it obvious that there is a possibility that the reconstruction method comes into practical use.
