Research Abstract |
The former half of this study considers the aspect of language in architectural space. In the history of architectural space in Japan the world of Kokinwakasyu and mikkyo (esoteric Buddhism) are very important in this aspect. Both regard language as important in the different ways. By the comparative study it has been made clear that Kokinwakasyu and mikkyo created two kinds of inner space for the first time in Japan and at the same time created the systems of the symbiosis between human being and nature. Second the field work has been done on the investigation of the space structure of mikkyo. Many data regarding this investigation has been patternized. Thirdly a questionare has been done on the relationship between "Qi" energy and space or place. And this result has been analized. Fourthly many kinds of training processes regarding mikkyo and Qi-gong have been observed and experienced. But this report couldn't describe the fourth point because of the lack of preparation.
