Research Abstract

以下の4つの環境保全型農業技術の確立を目的としている.
研究1.低投入低排出の環境保全型養水分管理
研究2.新規地中蓄放熱システムによる温度ストレス回避のための養水分管理
研究3.根圏局所低温ストレスの導入による高品質野菜生産のための養水分管理
研究4.中国黄河流域における節水型および塩害防止型の養水分管理
新規開発した循環型NFT水耕栽培システムにおいて,植物個体群の根群による養水分吸収に伴う培養液の成分組成変化,根の養水分吸収速度および導管液中の各元素濃度と環境条件との関係を,内皮の存在や膜輸送の機能(チャンネル,ポンプ,トランスポーター)に関連させて解析し,植物生産現場の変動環境下における根の物質吸収の機作を解明することを試みた(研究1).また,園芸施設における空気および培養液の省エネルギー温度調節を可能にする新規・顕潜熱地中蓄放熱システムの蓄熱効率の評価を行なった(研究2).一方,根圏のみに局所低温ストレスを与えることで,浸透圧調節機能および抗酸化機能を発現させて植物体内において有用物質(糖,酸,アミノ酸,ミネラル,抗酸化物質など)が高濃度に集積することを,ホウレンソウにおいて確認し,最適な根圏低温ストレスの条件(程度,時期,期間)を検討した(研究3).さらに,中国黄河上流域の灌漑農地において実験サイトを設けるとともに,灌漑水,地下水,土壌,植物体を採取してイオン分析を行って塩類化の状態を植物の根の物質吸収機能と関連させて解析した(研究4).
