Research Abstract |
In this fiscal year, we have summarized the results of our research project entitled "Dynamics of Fast Ions in Solids and Its Evolution for Solid State Ionics" which was performed during FY1995-1997. We have succeeded in clarifying ion dynamics of specified solids and could create new ion-conducting solids. In order to utilize our research result effectively, we have made following activities. 1. General organizing committee members held meetings for summarizing the entire research result and discussed how to make publicity activities in order to put our result to practical use. 2. We published a voluminous book of our entire research results written in English, and about 350 copies were distributed to researchers and engineers not only in Japan but also in the world. 3. We held an open forum on our research results in Tokyo on October 9, 1998. About 130 persons including more than 80 outsiders participated in this forum. They rated the achievements of the research results highly.
