Research Abstract

1.有機単分子膜の構造秩序化法として2段階冷却結晶化法、温度制御多段階クリープ法、再結晶多段階クリープ法、圧縮-膨張多段階クリープ法を提案し、従来の連続圧縮法と比較して著しく結晶学的連続性が長く、乱れ度の少ない超低欠陥単分子膜の作製プロセスを開発した。これらの手法に基づき調製した脂肪酸単分子膜のモアレ像を初めて観察するととに成功すると共に、C_<60>分子を化学修飾することなく単一ドメインのC_<60>単分子の作製に成功した。
2.連鎖的な電子移動反応の例として亜鉛テトラフェニルポルフィリンとルテニウム錯体が結合した分子系を使用し、フェトム秒時間分解蛍光分光測定に基づき速度論を検討した。フエトム秒領域の電子移動反応では、波動関数の時間発展に関して比較的強い相互作用の場合に生じる始と終状態の間のリカレンスと溶媒の再配向過程を同時に考慮すべきことを見出した。
3.ヌクレオシドアルキルシリル誘導体は、水素結合部位が核酸塩基部位での多重水素結合によるユニット形成とその積層化という階層的プロセスによる組織構造形成が容易であるため溶媒や金属塩共存下で多様な分子組織体を形成することを見出した。
4.パルスモーターで表面間の距離を1パルス当たり0.005nmきざみで、4〜6μmの距離にわたって移動可能な表面力測定装置を開発し、ガラス表面への2成分混合液体の選択吸着機構を解析した。エタノール/ミクロヘキサン混合系でエタノール濃度0.1モル%の場合、表面間距離5nmまでは吸着層の接触、表面間の橋架けに起因する引力と、また、表面から2〜5nmの間では、表面近傍の構造形成に基づく斥力が観測された。
5.サブユニットが共に炭化水素型で分子構造は両親媒性を示さない場合にも、両者が水素結合を介して組織化することにより各サブユニットの溶媒に対する親和性に差が生じ、超分子化により両親媒性を発揮することができる例を見出している。炭化フッ素鎖を疎水部とする両親媒性分子は相補的水素結合ネットワークの形成により有機媒体で安定な分子膜組織化が可能となった。
