Research Abstract

村上は、後脳展開標本による器官培養系を用い、背側正中線が交差する回路の形成にネトリン以外の軸索反発因子が関与していることを示した。岡戸は、wiring transmissonとは異なるセロトニンによる脳機能調節機構の存在、生体アミンによるシナプス形成維持機構の精神遅滞や発達障害の成因と修復機構への関与を示唆した。岡野は、Msil抗体の神経系腫瘍の鑑別診断及び種を越えての中枢神経系幹細胞の同定に利用しうる可能性を示した。小川は、神経系のミュータントマウスreelerの原因遺伝子(ReIn)の産物CR50/Reelinを同定し、ミュータントマウスreeler,yotariを用いて顆粒細胞の産生低下が小脳の低形成の一つの原因であることを示唆した。川村は、リーラーミュータントマウスを用いて大脳新皮質の神経路形成の分子メカニズムを免疫組織化学的に調べた。祖父江は、アフリカツメガエルを用いてPSD95がNMDAレセプターcurrentに抑制的に作用することを見いだした。武井は、微小管関連蛋白Tau,MAP1Bの欠如によって中枢神経ニューロンの一部で軸索の伸長が障害されること、また軸索の伸長への関与を示唆した。千坂は、細胞接着因子カドヘリン1の神経系での発現部位の構築・機能への関与をcadl knock outマウスを作製し解析した。仲村は、in ovoエレクトロポレーションによる間脳胞でのPax-2の強制発現実験を行い、Pax-2の発現による間脳の視蓋への分化転換に関与する機能分子の発現誘導の解析を行った。野田は、RLCS法を用いて単離されたcDNAの全構造、及び網膜において領域特異的発現を示す幾つかの新規分子の存在を明らかにした。堀田は、gcmがニューロン・グリア間の分化運命を決定するbinary switch遺伝子であり、ニューロンとグリアとが共通の母細胞に由来することを明らかにした。森は、嗅球組織切片での匂い受容体probeを用いたin situ hybridization組織化学と抗細胞接着分子を用いた免疫組織化学とを比較、細胞接着分子によるmapと匂い受容体mapとの間に正確な対応があることを明らかにした。
