Special attention has been paid concerning the recovery process from the view point of architectural history, structural engineering. Anather achievement in this co-operative research in this year will be summarized as follows. 1.Experimental study on the Japanese traditional mad-wall. The result of the above tests applied for the restoration of damaged historical properties. 2.A series of workshop on the emergency management of historical buildings at an event of intense earthquake. 3.Publication of our co-operative research, in which the result of field investigation and an new approach on the retro-fit of cultural properties are proposed.
