Research Abstract |
"Multi-Dimensional Mobile Communication" stands for a broad category of systems wherein mobile communications are integrated with multi-media, multi-transmission media and multi-layred networks. Information media may consist of digital voice, data, video, conventional mobile radio, and broadband links, Land, maritime, aeronautical, and satellite transmission systems may be integrated to constitute a global system which would allow anyone in the world to communicate with anyone else without limitations of time and space. Network structures may become an integrated network of mobile and non-mobile systems, establishing a complex multi-layred network. Mobile communication networks will eventually be integrated into the information superhighway. The objective of this research project is to investigate Multi-Dimensional Mobile Communication Networks. The research results of this project is summarized as follows : (1) A study on Multimedia wireless LAN ; (2) Channel Assignment in Cellular System ; (3) Network control for Multimedia Mobile Communication ; (4) Security of Multimedia Mobile Communication ; (5)etc.
