Research Abstract |
To constract a system of water management in the greening process of land, several studies were conducted over more than two years. Obtained results are summarized as follows : 1.The growth of young tree of Zelkova serrata Makino was influenced greatly by shape and volume of container. 2.By mearsuring of the distribution of stomatal resistance all over a young tree, it was clarified that the stomatal resistance depended upon the photosynthetic photon flux density. 3.The temperature of a single tree was higher than that of plant community. 4.Evapotranspirations from the surfaces under the conditions of a single tree, a transition process from single to plant community were estimated by using the modified Makkink's solar radiation methods. 5.A system of water management in the greening process of land was proposed on the basis of the estimating model of soil water that was constracted by Nakayama et al. (1991).
